Iowa native Kristen Jackson has been playing clarinet with the LRWS since 2008. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Central Arkansas with a Bachelor of Music. While there, she studied clarinet with Dr. Kelly Johnson and Min-ho Yeh. In addition to playing with UCA’s Wind Ensemble and Orchestra, she played with the Conway Symphony Orchestra and the Sophisticated Ladies Woodwind Quintet.
